FOR IDENTIFICATION

I have had this little creature in care since January. Came in just furred and just under 5gms. I had trouble with i.d., but tossed up between Dunnart and Yellow-footed Antechinus. I leant towards the Dunnart, as antechinus were not supposed to be around here, and it is so small. I have since sent photos to a wildlife park, and they believe it to be the antechinus; however it still weighs only 8gms, and should weigh 3 or 4 times that by now if it is a yellow-footed antechinus. She also has smooth soft fur, not thick and rough. I followed the antechinus manual to raise her, as I could find nothing on Dunnarts, and they are somewhat similar. She does the crocodile roll if stressed, and is quite shy. I have also never seen it show any interest in anything other than mealworms and Divet. If anyone has any ideas, can they please enlighten me? I want her to go with her own kind in a colony, but what is she?

She was found at Struck Oil, which is 7klms. n.e. of Mt. Morgan, which is 38klms S.W. of Rockhamtpon, at just under 2,ooo ft alt., on a creek bank, mainly dry schleryphyll forest.

Postscript: This was identified as a Planigale maculata (common planigale), based on measurements, appearance, and the colour of her front claws.
